Announcement season has officially begun, as Waldameer & Water World has announced their newest attraction – a Zamperla NebulaZ called Time Twister.
Replacing the park’s “Spider” (located next to Whacky Shack), Time Twister will provide an incredible experience for guests on the attraction, as well as those watching from the ground. According to the manufacturer, Time Twister is a dynamic family ride with four rotating arms, each carrying eight gondolas for up to 32 passengers. The hypnotic movement, with arms swinging in circular motions around horizontal axes, creates an engaging experience.
After debuting at the 2019 IAAPA Expo, Time Twister will be the 10th NebulaZ to open in the United States, and 23rd around the world. It is schedule to open in Summer of 2025.
Also new for 2025 is a reconstruction of the entrance to Waldameer’s in-park water park, Water World. Paratrooper (located near Comet) will be temporarily removed to make way for a new Potato Patch and Sundeck Cafe food and beverage location. A new Swim Shop retail building will be constructed next to Comet. Between the new Potato Patch and Swim Shop will be an expanded Water World entrance designed to significantly increase efficiency for families entering and exiting Water World.
