Is Blue Ice Cream A Suitable Victory Meal? In the All-Ohio Final, Only One Park Could Emerge as “King.”
We started with 70+ parks from across North America. After more than 73,000 individual votes cast, we’re ready to crown our 2025 Park Mania Champion – earning their second Park Mania trophy, Kings Island!
Now part of the Six Flags Entertainment Company, Kings Island originally opened in 1972, and sits on 364 acres in Mason, Ohio – just northeast of Cincinnati. The park features 15 roller coasters – including the most wooden roller coaster track of any park in the world! The park is scheduled to open River Racers, a side-by-side racing water coaster in 2025.
Buoyed by a passionate and faithful fanbase on social media – we see you, Passholder Facebook Groups and the Kings Island subreddit! – Kings Island made their way past their midwestern Cedar Fair-turned-Six Flags brethren Worlds of Fun in Round 1, and easily defeated Universal Studios Florida in Round Two. After dispatching 2019 Park Mania Champion Hersheypark in a rematch of the 2018 Park Mania Finals in Round 3 before narrowly defeating Carowinds in the regional finals. In the semi-finals, Kings Island got past the lone non-Six Flags park in the remaining four parks, Busch Gardens Williamsburg, and avenged a 2019 regional final loss to Cedar Point to claim the 2025 crown.
This is Kings Island’s second Park Mania Championship, and first since 2018. They join 2022 and 2024 Champion Indiana Beach on the list of of Park Mania Champions including Silverwood – 2017, Hersheypark – 2019, 2020 champion, Holiday World. 2021 Champion Carowinds, and 2023 champion, Kings Dominion!
