We’re keeping a running list of all the new-for-2025 roller coasters as they’re announced. Even though the 2024 season has yet to begin for many parks, we are already learning details about the roller coasters that are slated to open in 2025. We’ll keep this list updated as parks announce their 2025 roller coasters.

New for 2025 Roller Coasters
These new-for-2025 roller coasters have been officially announced:
Stardust Racers at Universal Epic Universe

In January, Universal unveiled exciting new details about its brand new theme park, Epic Universe, which will open in 2025. Included in the first batch of news was information about Stardust Racers, the park’s dueling launched roller coaster. Each of the two coasters will stand 133 feet tall and reach a top speed of 62 mph along 5,000 feet of track.
Hiccup’s Wing Gliders at Universal Epic Universe
In March, Universal unveiled details about the How to Train Your Dragon-inspired world, Isle of Berk, which will feature the Hiccup’s Wing Gliders family thrill coaster. The coaster is believed to be an Intamin-manufactured multi-launch coaster. According to Universal, Hiccup’s Wing Gliders will reach a top speed of 45 mph.
Curse of the Werewolf Universal Epic Universe
This Mack family-friendly, launched spinning coaster will be one of the main attractions of the Dark Universe world at Epic Universe.
Mine-Cart Madness at Universal Epic Universe
This “Boom Coaster” concept will be one of the most unique and innovative attractions at Universal Epic Universe when the theme park opens in 2025.
Rapterra at Kings Dominion
Rapterra will be the world’s tallest and longest launched wing coaster when it opens in 2025.
Quantum Accelerator at Six Flags New England
Six Flags New England will debut Quantum Accelerator, a new Intamin dual-launch straddle coaster the park’s 2025 season.
Wrath of Rakshasa at Six Flags Great America
In 2025, Six Flags Great America will open Wrath of Rakshasa, a Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M) dive coaster standing 180 feet tall, with a record-breaking 96-degree drop and five inversions.
AlpenFury at Canada’s Wonderland
Canada’s Wonderland has big 2025 plans — AlpenFury will be the longest, tallest and fastest launch coaster in Canada.
MonteZOOMa: The Forbidden Fortress
After a rough setback and the status for it unknown for well over a year, the anticipated relaunch of Montezooma’s Revenge by Premier Rides is supposed to open at Knott’s Berry Farm in 2025.
Fire Runner at Lost Island
RMC Raptor single rail coaster to be added to Iowa’s newest theme park.
Snoopy’s Racing Railway at Carowinds
Carowinds will open a Snoopy-themed family launch coaster in 2025.
Georgia Surfer at Six Flags Over Georgia
Originally scheduled to open in 2024, the Intamin “Ultra Surf” coaster will now open in 2025.
Flash: Vertical Velocity at Six Flags Great Adventure
Six Flags Great Adventure’s Flash: Vertical Velocity, originally planned to open in 2024, has been delayed and will open in 2025.
Palindrome and Circuit Breaker at Cotaland
Palindrome was first announced in 2021 with an anticipated late-2022 debut. The first Gerstlauer Infinity shuttle coaster in the US, Palindrome will stand 95 feet tall and feature a top speed of 51 mph with two inversions and a vertical “hop-stall” before riders traverse the 1,230-foot-long course in reverse.
COTALand will be home to North America’s first “Tilt” Coaster, Circuit Breaker. Hopefully 2025 will be the year that Palindrome and Circuit Breaker finally open.
Transformers at Seven Yanbu
The world’s first S&S Axis coaster will be coming in 2025 to Seven Yanbu in Saudi Arabia. The compact layout will be navigated twice and is all indoors.
Yeti Trek at Santa’s Village Ontario
A custom Vekoma family coaster with a lift hill and station fly through is coming to Santa’s Village in Ontario, Canada.
Siren’s Curse at Cedar Point
Siren’s Curse will be the fastest, tallest and longest tilt coaster in North America when it opens in 2025.
Beach Rescue Racer at SeaWorld San Antonio
In 2025, SeaWorld San Antonio will open Beach Rescue Racer, a new 1,000-foot roller coaster, with coaster cars in the shape of a beach jeep featuring graphics of different species, will give guests the feeling of rushing to the rescue of animals in need.
Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge at Busch Gardens Williamsburg
Busch Gardens Williamsburg will pay homage to the park’s former Big Bad Wolf (Arrow suspended coaster) with the debut of Big Bad Wolf: The Wolf’s Revenge, a family-friendly B&M inverted coaster.
2025 Roller Coasters Teased
These roller coasters have been teased by their respective parks but full details have not yet been announced:
RMC Double Raptor Coaster for Walibi Belgium
A custom international raptor coaster has been listed on RMC’s website and this looks to be where it’s going. More soon.
Fast and Furious Coaster at Universal Studios Hollywood – 2026
Universal announced in July that construction had begun on its new-for-2026 Fast and Furious-inspired roller coaster, although details about the roller coaster were very limited:
Equipped with a state-of-the-art ride system uniquely created to engulf guests within the dynamic Fast & Furious universe, this all-new roller coaster will benefit from Universal Destinations & Experiences’ decades-long expertise in revolutionizing the development of the contemporary roller coaster across its global theme park destinations.
Hopefully Universal will share more details about the Fast and Furious coaster in the coming months. *Originally thought for 2025 but Universal stated opening in 2026 even though construction and track work is well underway.
